Ned and Cheryl have been married for 24 years with two grown children and a 17 year old son at home. They live in Irving, Texas where Cheryl grew up. Ned did 2 tours in Vietnam, but spent the next decade lost in drugs and alcohol. Ned met Cheryl and they married in 1982 and he has been drug and alcohol free since then. Ned was a machinist for 30 years working 60-70 hours a week while Cheryl has been in corporate America for 27 years with a Pulitzer Prize winning daily national business publication. They knew there was more to life, they just didn't know what.
They have been involved with Free Enterprise for about 12 years. Ned was extremely excited about it, and knew one day they were going to be rich! Cheryl didn't quite share the same excitement though. At first, she was very uncomfortable talking to people about their business and she definitely wasn't going to sell anything to anybody! “I heard a woman, who like me was and introvert, speak at a conference one day, and I related to her. I thought if she can do this then I can do it too!”
In the beginning they struggled and thought they had failed miserably. But what they didn't realize was how much they had grown from the personal development they were learning. They started applying that knowledge to their lives. They hung in through the learning curve and by a thin thread, they met Matt Morris about 6 years ago. Matt became their mentor. He taught them a 3 step system and low and behold, success happened! “We are a living, breathing testimony to the power of personal development products.
